2014-2015     Adjunct Professor, Park University, Parkville, Kansas. Created and taught courses “Global Sustainability,” “Geopolitics and Terrorism,” and “Geography of Latin America.”
2012     Adjunct Professor, Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Created and taught course “Geography of Mexico: Culture, History, and Political Structure” as part of Southwest Border Scholar’s Program.

Developed and taught “Introducción al Diseño del Paisaje” [“Introduction to Landscape Design”], with emphasis on incorporating regional indigenous ethnobotanical techniques and geographic concepts into contemporary landscape designs.
